Message from Linda....

"The reason I started on this path was to learn more about this healing career since I experienced this healing touch first hand continuously after my back surgery in 1984, I have never felt better in my own body since. Going to CCMT not only taught me the skills to give a massage but their school taught us the importance of taking care of our own body, mind and soul in order to properly care for others. It was the best decision of my life to pursue this loving and healing career. Please allow me to teach you to get back in touch with your mind, body and soul too! All that fresh oxygen brought into your body with my healing touch will work wonders for you."

Alexandra Smith graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in April 2008. Since graduation she has worked in various settings including St. Francis hospital with in-patients, a chiropractor's office, and volunteer at various sporting and charitable events. Currently she loves working at Tao Vitality with a wide range of clients.

Whether you are looking to simply relax from the daily stresses of life, need pain relief, or are looking to ease muscles from physically demanding activities, Alex will work with you to develop a massage therapy plan to suit your needs.

Alex is trained in Swedish massage which can be tailored deep or light depending on the client, as well as hot stone and pre-natal massage. This year, Alex has been working towards her orthopedic massage certification, with completion of the back, neck and pelvis class. A massage session with Alex could include some light stretching, acupressure, and massage focusing on those areas that are most troublesome for you.
